Position: HR Senior Recruitment Specialist
Salary Range: $90,000 - $95,000 Annually
Summary:
Block Institute is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Recruitment Specialist to oversee our recruitment process. This role involves working closely with all Programs/Departments to understand their hiring needs and develop a recruitment plan to attract and hire top talent. The Sr. Recruitment Specialist will manage the hiring process from beginning to end, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for both the Agency and candidates.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The following duties are essential to the role. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
- Understand HR processes and talent acquisition trends.
- Monitor labor legislation and governing body requirements in conjunction with the HR Director to implement necessary changes for compliance.
- Collaborate with Finance in the creation of new positions.
- Build quality, professional relationships with internal management/staff and external recruitment agencies.
- Manage and develop the team of HR Recruiters.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and Program/Department heads to understand their staffing needs.
- Develop and implement recruiting strategies and processes that align with the Agency’s goals and values.
- Write job descriptions and job postings that accurately reflect the required skills and qualifications.
- Post job openings on the company website, job boards, and other recruitment channels.
- Oversee recruitment analytics to ensure methods and strategies are successful; use analytics to develop effective staffing strategies and inform Program/Department heads.
- Ensure that sourcing, screening, and interviewing of candidates are accomplished by all Recruitment staff using effective methods to assess their skills and qualifications.
- Ensure the recruitment process delivers a positive candidate experience.
- Organize recruitment processes for job fairs, both on-site and off-site.
- Must be flexible about hours; offsite travel is a requirement.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Mandatory attendance at required in-service training; demonstrate compliance with all regulations and Block Institute policy and procedure requirements.
- Learn and master the use of any and all software systems and technology utilized by the Agency on a Program by Program basis.
- Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality; ensure work responsibilities are covered when absent and arrive at meetings and appointments on time.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Oversee the Recruiter and Onboarder positions.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS Degree
- 3-5+ years of recruitment experience
- Willingness to travel for work
- Proficiency in computer skills for internet recruitment
- Experience with Paycom is a plus
