Human Resources Specialist
Job Description
GRACE, a non-profit organization has a full-time opening for an energetic, organized, mission-minded individual to oversee agency human resource management, staff administrative functions and overall agency procedures.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Serve as the primary liaison to company PEO regarding personnel, HR functions, and benefits administration;
- Manage full-cycle recruiting and onboarding processes, and conduct new hire orientation;
- Participate in internal investigations concerning workplace complaints;
- Oversee annual and mid-year employee performance evaluations;
- Process, review, and approve bi-weekly and off-cycle payrolls for exempt and non-exempt employees.
- Schedule and conduct exit interviews and report feedback;
- Prepare and execute administrative/staff special events;
- Manage monthly staff meetings and prepare meeting agenda;
- Ensure required safety/employment postings are current at each GRACE location;
- Compile and update staff salary survey information annually;
- Other tasks as requested by CEO.
Minimum qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in business administration, human resources, or a related field and two years of experience, or a minimum of six years of human resources equivalent experience is required;
- Demonstrated computer knowledge including experience using Microsoft Office preferred;
- Possess excellent communication, written, and listening skills;
- One-year experience working in a non-profit organization is desired.
Position reports to the Chief Executive Officer.
This is not a telecommute or work from home position.
Salary Range: $46,000 to 48,000 Per Year
